The youth band has performed concerts at Halifax Civic Theatre along side the National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain, the House of Commons, The Winter Gardens, Blackpool and many more places.  We also perform at charity events. In 2004 we produced our first CD Recording, "And All That Jazz". In April 2007, the band became the National Junior Brass Band Champions.

The youth band has approximately 25 members. We also have a Training band with and a beginner's class. We are always on the look out for new members whether they are complete beginners or more advanced. We provide children with an instrument, tuition and any music required. Whatever your standard we have a place for you.

The youth band forms part of the Elland Silver Band organisation, which celebrated its 150^th anniversary in 1999. Several players from the youth band are also now members of the Elland Silver Band and other bands across West Yorkshire.
